# 167. ¿Cómo afecta a pacientes oncológicos?

Un estudio en China (n: 28)(56) estudió a pacientes oncológicos con COVID-19, el **cáncer de pulmón** era el tipo de cáncer más frecuente (n:7, 25%) seguido del esofágico. Sospechan que **8 pacientes** (28,6%) **se contagiaron en el hospital**. Los síntomas más frecuentes fueron **fiebre** (n: 23, 82,1%), **tos seca** (n:22, 81%), **fatiga** (n:18, 64.3%), **disnea** (n:14, 50%) y **frecuencia respiratoria >30rpm** (n:4, 14,3%)

Se encontró que los pacientes que **habían recibido tratamiento oncológico en las 2 semanas previas** al diagnóstico COVID-19 tenían **complicaciones más graves (ventilación mecánica, fallecimiento)**. Se consideraba tratamiento: quimioterapia (n:3, 10,7%), radioterapia (n:1, 3,6%), terapia combinada (n:2, 7,1%) and inmunoterapia con quimioterapia (n:1, 3,6%).
