# 100. ¿Se pueden pautar aerosoles en la infección por COVID-19?

En caso de infección de vías respiratorias bajas (190), se podrán emplear broncodilatadores cuando la exploración lo sugiera (sibilancias), preferiblemente con **cámara espaciadora y dispositivo inhalador de dosis media (MDI).**

**Si** se realizan procedimientos que puedan generar **aerosoles** (ver tabla 4), se debe incrementar el nivel de protección. El personal expuesto debe ser el mínimo imprescindible y emplear mascarilla **FFP3**, además de bata de manga larga impermeable, protección ocular ajusta de montura integral o facial completa y los guantes.
