# 56. Clínica sugestiva, PCR negativa, ¿qué hacer para diagnosticar?

 La Sociedad Española de Inmunología (118) recoge una **serie de casos del HU German Trías y Pujol** ( HUGTiP, Barcelona) donde encontraron que un **24% de pacientes (n: 85)** que ingresaba por sospecha COVID-19 tenían **PCR negativa** en una recogida de datos del 19-24/03/20. Revisaron esos casos y decidieron analizar **qué sucedía en aquellos que además tenían IL-6>40 pg/ml (n:46**): el **17% pacientes tenían PCR + en 48 horas**, un **15% tenían de forma persistente PCR negativa** y un **22%** tenían **neumonías no filiadas** con PCR negativa para SARS-COV-2 y otros virus. En este caso, se recomienda **la detección de Inmunoglobulinas para realizar el diagnóstico.**
